Hey, HECK Puffs!

Wondering how HECK will fit into this month’s assignments? So am I. My plan is for HECK to be an easy way to get something turned in because the story is already there. So your HECK project could work for any class.

For July the story is that we’re making things for House Elf Summer Camp at the Helga Hufflepuff House Elf Camp and Spa (I think the name changes everytime I type it though).

I’ll go through the classes this evening and make a list of ideas to go with each class. I’m mostly a knitter, so if you crochet, spin or dye and have thoughts, please contribute those.

It would be cool to coordinate turning these projects in together -- maybe the 25 through 27 of July?

Finally, do we want to keep this planning in the common room, or open a thread in the Huffle Blog group?

The most wonderful Pacasha turned in her HECK project today! She made a dishcloth and a skein of light for her house elf, Beetlejuice :)

ShaylaMyst also made her HECK project! She made a sunlight potholder for her special house elf :)

First House Elf Project!

Minutes for Saturday, June 26, 2010.

Now accepting everyday-awesome members to HECK (The House Elf Crafting Klatch). You can join by letting me know. Your membership fee is something crafted for the House Elfs (1). If you need to turn in one more class this month this is a great time to make a dish cloth or scrubbie and join HECK.

Next month we’ll be making stuff for the House Elves (2) as they prepare to go to camp. I think this will be for whichever class fits your HECK mojo best, but we’ll see when the assignments come out.

Unless you’re an officer, your duties are to be everyday awesome in support of House Elves.
